A true Novalja bistro

Bistro Stari Kaštel sits at Trg Loža, the historic heart of Novalja, with a terrace that opens directly onto the sea. We have been welcoming guests, families and travellers from all over Europe with honest, unhurried Croatian hospitality.

Our kitchen draws on the best of the Adriatic and the Dalmatian hinterland: locally caught fish, slow-roasted meats, hand-made pasta, and the freshest seasonal ingredients. Every dish is prepared the same day. No shortcuts.
